Human Resources Director
Athens Orthopedic Clinic, the leader in orthopedic care in northeast Georgia, is currently seeking candidates for the position of Director, Human Resources.
This position, reporting to the CEO, is a vital member of the management team.
This position oversees and directs all aspects of the Human Resources function to include benefits, compensation, employee relations and recruiting and selection.
Duties will included, but are not limited to, the following:
- Supports management by providing human resources direction, advice and counsel
- Ability to coach and mentor team members through the process of understanding the needs and responsibilities of human resources within a large multi-location organization
- Guides management and employee actions by developing HR guidelines, communicating the guidelines and enforcing organization values
- Leads company's compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal requirements including any related to the
- Maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits
- Ability to work closely with management counterparts to limit workplace issues
- Establishes and maintains company records and reports; able to direct others in the organization and adherence to record-keeping guidelines

The most qualified candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources; Master's Degree with a concentration in Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Human Resources; preferably with another healthcare organization.
- One (1) certification in Human Resources preferred. May be from among the following: SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, CHHR
