Position Function

The ABA Accreditation and Field-based Experience Coordinator will support the graduate and undergraduate applied behavior analysis (Autism Programs). This position will report to the Chair of the Department of Special Education. They will provide support to the Director(s) program assessment and coordinate other program evaluation activities related to accreditation; serve as practicum coordinator to facilitate and monitor practicum placements; assist students with instructional and curriculum issues; and complete other related tasks as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Special education.

Minimum Education

Master's degree in applied behavior analysis or a related area.

Minimum Experience

3 years post-BCBA experience.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Doctoral degree in related area.

Preferred Experience

Experience with accreditation.

Experience with program evaluation.
Experience in higher education.

Support the department in pursuing accreditation by completing the following:
  • Conduct outcomes assessment required by accrediting body and summarizes data for ABA/Autism Core Faculty.
  • Develop and administer student satisfaction survey to evaluate their experience with and access to academic advising provided by faculty/staff knowledgeable about the program and requirements for licensing, certification, and career paths in accordance with accreditation standards.
  • Maintain database of student contact post-graduation and administers annual post-graduation outcomes survey for accreditation purposes.
  • Evaluate students' satisfaction with field-based experience.
  • Coordinate scheduled formal and informal student assessment of teaching and develops a documented strategy and process for using the feedback to improve the course content and learning activities.
