Counselor and Prevention Education Coordinator

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years post-graduate full-time counseling/mental health/clinical services experience. Preference for experience in college mental health or similar setting. Experience with group work and providing presentations.

Qualifications Required
Requires a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar discipline. Active Nebraska License to provide mental health treatment is also required. Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and above is preferred.

General Summary
This position will assist in the provision of comprehensive counseling services. Will provide crisis and ongoing counseling services, in addition to implementing prevention and outreach programs to students on the Columbus campus and other CCC campuses and centers, as assigned by the Director of Counseling and Prevention Education Services. Successful candidate will be located on the Columbus Campus. Some evening hours may be required. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
