Mechatronics Instructor

Qualifications Required
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher in the field or related field and three (3) years collective relevant work experience; or An AAS in the field or related field and five (5) years of collective relevant work experience; or More than ten (10) years of collective work experience and enrollment in a related AAS degree program.

General Summary
As a full-time instructor in Mechatronics (INDT) teaching at the Kearney Learning Center, the successful candidate can expect to teach a variety of courses in INDT ranging from Concepts of Electronics, Fluid Power, Mechanical Systems, to Programmable Controls, Control Systems, Applications of Industrial Sensors and Automation Controls. Instructors teach through a variety of delivery methods to a wide range of student backgrounds and interests including high school and non-traditional students. Classes may be offered during the day, evening, and weekends. Instructors are actively involved in program recruitment, advising, and assessment of student progress through program outcomes and awards.
