The City of Middletown is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Customer Service Lead at the Middletown Regional Airport. Position is responsible for supervising, training, and facilitating performance of Customer Service Representative employees at the Middletown Regional Airport. Position is required to ensure the safe fueling and movement of aircraft, as well as performing tasks related to fueling quality control. This position is customer service focused, with safe operating practices and commitment being highly important. Specified knowledge and understanding of the general aviation system is required along with the ability to identify unsuitable conditions.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; and three (3) months of service experience.
Salary Range: $15.69 to $16.98 per hour.

Position Summary
Position is responsible for mentoring and training Line Service Trainees. Position is responsible for ensuring the safe fueling and movement of aircraft, as well as performing tasks related to fueling quality control. This position is customer service focused, with safe operating practices and commitment being highly important. Specified knowledge and understanding of the general aviation system is required along with the ability to identify unsuitable conditions.
Position Qualifications
1. High School Diploma or GED; and three (3) months of airport service experience.
2. Must have basic mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers).
3. Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator.
4. Must possess a valid Ohio’s Driver’s License.
Duties and Responsibilities (For Performance Appraisal)
1. Aircraft marshalling and greeting.
2. Ability to effectively communicate work progress and significant issues with Airport Manager and staff.
3. Assist with phone reception, fuel orders, service requests, aircraft window cleaning & credit card processing.
4. Perform customer service requests while maintaining high standards of customer service relations.
5. Ensure cleanliness of FBO facility (lounges, restrooms, offices, grounds, etc.)
6. Coordinate fueling and moving aircraft in accordance to best practices, NATA training and ATA103.
7. Perform fuel quality control in accordance to best practices and NATA training.
8. Ensure the safety and security of the airport FBO facilities and the general aviation sector.
9. Process rental car and hotel reservations.
10. Perform other airport duties such as operations, maintenance, airfield mowing, snow and ice removal, and other duties as required.
