Director of Building and Grounds

NOTICE OF VACANCY POSITION: Director of Building and Grounds

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be able to: • Oversee day-to-day operations of our facilities and physical plant. • Collaborate with administration and contractors on capital improvement projects. • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of building projects to manage and drive successful initiatives. • Have proven experience in building and grounds management. • At least five years of experience in Facilities Management and/or related fields (preferred). • Ability to supervise custodial/ maintenance staff. • Understanding of PA state regulatory building codes for schools (preferred) • Knowledge of HVAC, refrigerant recovery, carpentry, masonry, key control, locks, building security, electric systems including power distribution, pneumatics, plumbing, asbestos regulations, fire suppression systems and local ordinances (preferred). • Expertise in institutional floor care, carpet cleaning and use of proper chemicals for cleaning specifically in school setting and knowledge of storage of chemicals. • Effective communication and supervisory skills/excellent computer skills.

SALARY: $65,000-$80,000 (offer commensurate upon experience)
