Superintendent's Secretary and Bookkeeper
Shelton Public School is accepting applications for the Superintendent's Secretary and Bookkeeper position. This is a 12-month contract. The person selected for this position will shadow the current secretary during the 2020-2021 school year to learn the bookkeeping procedures with the intent of taking on the full position during the 2021-2022 school year. Qualifications include knowledge of business and management principles involved in budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial management. Skills include word processing, excel spreadsheets, organizing files and records, and accurate mathematical calculations. Interpersonal skills include integrity, flexibility, critical thinking & problem solving, collaboration, and attention to detail. Qualified candidates must also possess strong customer service skills. Special consideration will be given to candidates with a degree in accounting or a related field. Position open until filled.
