Physical Requirements
Lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 20lbs. Repetitive motion typical of desk work (typing, sitting, pending, twisting, prolonged screen exposure).
Shift
Approximately 20 hours per week; flexible schedule mostly Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm) with some evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Summary
The Fostering Success Job Coach (hereafter referred to as ‘Job Coach') will work directly with young people participating in the Fostering Success Summer Employment Program. Job Coaches will be required to attend an orientation to the program.
Specific duties include:
• Develop effective job coaching and employment plans
• Communicate with participants to understand their goals and ambitions
• Assist participants in developing strategies to overcome employment related personal and professional barriers
• Assess participants' strengths/areas for growth
• Guide clients in learning to complete employment related tasks
• Provide coaching in effective job search techniques
• Monitor and evaluate progress of program participants
• Keep records and documentation related to participant contacts

Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills; Interpersonal Skills; Team Oriented; Strong Problem Solving Skills; Previous professional experience working with young people, age 18-22, preferred. Some travel may be required.
