Learning Analytics Analyst University of Nebraska 3835 Holdrege Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68583. Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm. Responsible for integrating large datasets, modeling student learning performance & behavior, and identifying & communicating opportunities & results. Proactive and continued engagement with stakeholders across the NU system, work closely with faculty; administration, and data stewards to turn large datasets into critical knowledge that can be used to make collective and individualized decisions regarding student engagement. Proposing innovative ways to look at problems by mining data, validating findings, and presenting results and methods to stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Educational Administration, or related, together with 36 months experience in Information Systems. Also require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, statistical analysis, programming knowledge, and a strong commitment to working closely with a team to develop end-to-end solutions and excellent written and verbal communications skills to collaborate with others and report back the findings in a clear, structured manner are required. A solid understanding of business intelligence and design specifications for highly customizable software applications with statistical analysis and tools. Ability to analyze data sources and plan integration processes to combine link data into one usable data environment and of data systems, including data relationships and data modeling.
